Why join the Vegan adventure?

Veganism is heavily mocked by modern society. However, according to the scientists from the University of Oxford, avoiding meat and dairy products is the single biggest way to reduce your environmental impact of the planet!

Still need convincing? Veganism not only hugely benefits the environment, but also your health. Here are a few of the many advantages:

• Going 1 year without paper would save 8.5 trees, however, going 1 year without beef would save 3432 trees!

• The same amount of water (5000l) is used when you flush your toilet for 6 months OR shower for 3 months OR eat 1 burger!

• Casein in cow’s milk is the most relevant cancer promoter ever.

• Dairy has been linked to chronic diseases, including heart disease, diabetes, and osteoporosis.

• Dairy increases the chance of cardiovascular disease.

• 2000000000000 animals are killed for consumption each year. That’s another 2 trillion reasons to go vegan!

Meat production is a leading cause of climate change, waste water and deforestation!

A great tip for transitioning your lifestyle is vegetarianism - a helpful halfway as a first step! It holds many of the same benefits as veganism and is much better than doing nothing at all. 🌱
